Education

Ensures that each individual in Bessemer has access to high-quality educational resources by supporting our dedicated educators and collaborating to develop tutoring programs to combat the learning disparity that our community faces. Omar will also advocate for new modern learning facilities for our youth to provide environments conducive to high learning.

Safety

Policy is a huge part of safety and safety is a multilayered issue and must be combated as such. Omar strives to develop crime prevention programs to nullify potential crimes, establish conflict resolution programs,  provide mental health assistance for the community, and support local law enforcement. 

Infrastructure

The City of Bessemer has seen growth in recent years and Omar plans to continue improving the infrastructure by assisting with a downtown revitalization project, improving neighborhoods with new roads, adequate lighting, and sidewalks, developing green spaces for families to enjoy throughout the city, and advocating for new housing develops.
